Approach: This 1920’s detached double fronted family house standing on mature private gardens had not been renovated for over 35 years. The general layout was spacious and the rooms were well portioned but the decoration was from the 1970’s with vibrant geometric wallpaper throughout and linoleum floors in the bathrooms with brightly coloured ceramic tiles. The client wanted a modern classic style with a calming colour palette. The house was purchased late September and they were expecting their second child early January so it was paramount that everything was completed before Christmas.
